You have a complex language, you live in a large complex family and social group, you even have individual names for your family members and your friends. You like some more than others. Some of your friends will be your friends for life. From these other beings, you learn about yourself, you grow up. You learn how to be you. You learn how to hunt, to mate, to have fun. You have the freedom of the world, and travel thousands of kilometres with your friends and family.
These arrogant, greedy humans are not all bad. Some do care, some recognise your rights as an individual being. But it's not enough. And one day, it will be too late. It is too late for some individuals.

You are curious, and love sharing your home with humans, even though at times, they will hurt you. Sometimes they will hurt you without realising, sometimes they hurt you deliberately.
Precious members of your family are hunted by humans, you may be captured and forced into prison and servitude in order to "entertain" other humans, yet they profess to love animals, when it is pure fucking arrogance and greed that drives them to hunt you, and they call it "conservation".
Whilst in captivity, your complex biopsychosocial needs are completely ignored. You show signs of mental and physical illness, and will die a slow, miserable, premature death.
Once, you had the freedom of the world, now you have the confines of a bath. You are forced to mate, and your offspring will never know freedom. If you give birth, your calves are taken away from you. They will only know pain and misery.
